I would just like to applaud Pat and Ashish, who have taken it upon themselves to keep the BSJ stocked.
As a team we fell short of 1st place by 3 fights. It was realy frustrating because we weren't able to pull together a full team of 12 to go down to LA. I was fairly happy with how I fought though.
We're heading down to LA for the final tri-meet with UCSD and USC. We rented these Toyota SUV hybrids that appear to be much more spacious than they actually are. This is us trying to pack one of these things.
Yeah so I don't really know what I've been doing lately. Wasting a lot of time, etc. I guess. But I haven't felt like anything interesting has been happening or I've been too lazy to pull out my camera or I've been poaching pictures from Leslie. I'm sorry, I'll cut it out and get back to work.
European tourists! I have no idea why they were in the house but now I am in some of their pictures. They were amused by the "Fewest Showers" contest.
Someone was giving free socks away on campus today. So now I have ~5 new pairs of socks. Great! Besides, love/hate is kind of my relationship with running anyway. Why not say it with stuff?
~~~Happy, Stephanie? I've been slacking
I got home from work today and I had a postcard! And a letter from my dad but that was less exciting.
It was pretty much an awesome day today. I took the Caltrain to San Francisco and biked up and down hills for a while. Then, when I got tired I called Rosabelle and she came to pick me up. We sat at the beach at the Presidio.
Awesome. New dust masks in the crushing room. I didn't realize how great it is to actually have a proper dust mask. I felt a little less like a coal miner when I left work today.
Well today the Cardinal men lost to some team in Texas. That was a bummer. But what's not a bummer is Devils Canyon Brewery's Beer Friday. Mary sent me an email sometime this afternoon and I got it this evening. Devils Canyon is a short walk from the Belmont CalTrain station so I hopped on went. I had a great time which was nice since I almost didn't go.
Karen and Shila are back. Leslie is the unofficial photographer for my spring break because I can't seem to hold it together.
Peter has a rabbit for a week. His name is Elijah and he only seems to eat soy nuts. He also looks like he's in extreme pain when you pet him.
I don't have much of a break because I'm going home for a week in May. But it's nice to have some evenings free (the schedule @ the gym has changed). Tonight I discovered free TV shows on NBC. I am now in love with "30 Rock" and drinking wine on the porch.
Decisions... Pat, Leslie and I went to a Chinese restaurant tonight. Pat and I were the only white people there and we were very happy about it.
yeah! Potential residents are starting to come in and do jobs for housing priority. This girl has to fire-proof the giant canvas.
The macaroni and "cheese" on the right side of the plate is vegan and tastes much much better than the real mac and cheese on the left. Welcome to the apocalypse my friends.
Wow. This picture is dedicated to to anyone who has ever planted a fake tree in the name of SCA. This is a stunning example of how not to do re-veg.
This closet is locked.
We had a good day today. Stanford tied UC Davis for 1st place with 13 wins each.
waaah, tomorrow is the biggest tri-meet of the year: Stanford vs. UC-Davis vs. UC-Berkeley. No one had to cut weight so we all went out for dinner the night before. Aaron got the super bento box. It was quite amazing. We had a private room so we could be as loud as we wanted to.
